Climate
The climate of the region
is generally dry and cool: winter temperatures seldom
fall below 15oF but may stay around freezing
for days at a time.
The maximum summer
temperatures usually reach 85oF to 90oF,
occasionally as high as 105oF. the average
humidity is between 30 to 40 percent.
The Quetta valley
82 percent of its average annual rainfall of 6” in the
winters from western weather disturbances and only 18
percent during the summer monsoon.
The over all run-off is
about 10 percent of the gross precipitation. The
evaporation losses range between 15 percent to 25
percent mean annual rainfall |
